As a student at UNC-Wilmington, I realized PT was the ideal mix of an active profession, continuous problem-solving, and helping others achieve mobility and strength; something we often take for granted until we lose it. This took me to Cullowhee, NC to earn my doctorate of physical therapy from Western Carolina University. After graduating, I completed an orthopedic residency and am a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. I got started into lifestyle medicine during my Professional Yoga Therapist training.
Throughout my career, I have continuously added skills to my treatment toolbelt, and I enjoy using various skills to provide an individualized approach to each patient’s care: manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, exercise prescription, yoga, movement analysis, and more!
